The British Prime Minister Tony Blair announced last Wednesday that the country will start the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. The first soldiers will leave the war torn country in a couple of weeks, and by 2008 all British soldiers will have left the country.
This contradicts the Prime Minister's recent statements where he concludes that the Britain needs to play a somewhat more agressive role in a globalized role. It's not enough to wait for conflicts to solve themselves, to take responsibility for the world we live in and to interact where ever it's necessary is the task for Great Britain.
